IED
The Shared Dictionary

As part of the IED Factory 2017 week, I was invited to lead a cross-disciplinary group of BA students in shaping a brand new dictionary, designed to anticipate what will be the words we will use in that future when the sharing economy will rule the world.

Some remarkable results include:

bankup

combitat
Agreement between two people willing to share the same living space.

fakegrabber
Algorithm scouting for fake news in order to hide them.

greentogreen
Also G2G: directly exchanging agricultural products, without using a currency.

housecrossing
Temporary home exchange.

modatar
Avatar replacing a model during a fashion show.

roomtribution
Offering for free a room to a person in need.

sporbot
Sport practiced by robots.

swooking
Short for swap booking: a platform to book housecrossing.

techbunal
Tribunal judging about a controversy between AIs.

tobor
Robot out of order.
